2023, 2024 — LFSaw

In September 2023, I visited the Kilpisjärvi Biology Station for an artist in residency program.

Among other things, I collected field recordings of the station’s hidden sounds as well as its direct surroundings. Mid 2024, while writing a text about artistic research in the context of the research station, I returned to the recordings and created a continuous track that aims to reflect the station’s atmosphere and infrastructure.
